Established in 1977 under the name of IUGC (heavy Construction Machinery Company)later registering in Galati as ATLAS S.A. (public listed company) as result of the reorganization and restructuring activity in 1991.

Atlas (Constructions) has participated at the construction of siderurgical platforms of Galati, Calarasi, Targoviste and provided construction machinery for all Steel Plants in Romania.
Together with Arcom Bucuresti, Atlas has executed works in the Russian Federation und Ukraine and the Krivoi Rog Mining Plant.
Currently, Atlas is providing civil and industrial constructions, greening works, hydrotechnical works with a new park of machinery, allowing us to approach the most difficult works at a high scale.
